The Socialists did not have much fun in recent years at the headquarters of Ivry-sur-Seine.
But this Thursday evening, May 5, outside on the sidewalk, two of them are laughing.
Nicknamed
"Tic et Tac"
, Pierre Jouvet and Sébastien Vincini replay the match of these thirteen days and thirteen nights of negotiations to reach the Nupes agreement, this broad union of the left for the legislative elections.
At the helm from the start, the two national secretaries are counting the hours of sleep left behind at LFI headquarters.
The nerves fall and they burst out laughing.
"At one point, we had to bring Seb back, who was in a nightclub in the South for his best friend's bachelor party
," says Pierre Jouvet in front of a few journalists.
The atmosphere is much less jovial inside.
Olivier Faure looks tense.
