The Baltic Fleet of the Russian Army has started operating a new military ship carrying the Caliber and Onyx cruise missiles.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement today: The Grad missile ship was officially put into service for the benefit of the Baltic Sea Fleet, and the official flag was raised on it during an official ceremony held last Thursday, which was attended by the commander of the Baltic Sea Fleet and a group of officers and military personnel.
The ship is 75 meters long, 11 meters wide, and its water displacement is equivalent to 949 tons. It can carry a crew of 52 people, move at a speed of 25 nautical knots, and cut 2,500 nautical miles per mission.
