Seven people, including three children, were killed in a gas explosion at a kebab restaurant in western Turkey on Friday, local officials said.

,” the mayor of Nazilli (Aydin province), where the explosion occurred, wrote on Twitter.
The city councilor, Özlem Cercioglu, clarified on the Habertürk channel that three of the victims were children.

Four other people were injured, according to Turkish media, and a person suspected of being behind the accident was arrested, Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag said.
Images broadcast by Turkish television channels showed the emergency services hard at work in front of the restaurant building, with its blackened facade and blown windows.
