Zelensky: "Russia has fewer and fewer missiles and is sinking into a dead end"

The President of Ukraine, Volodímir Zelenski, has assured this Thursday, after the new massive attack suffered this Thursday, that Russia has "fewer and fewer missiles" and that with these attacks it is entering "a blind alley".

"With each of those missile attacks, Russia is only sinking further and further into a dead end. They have fewer and fewer missiles. Instead, the status of the world's biggest terrorist will have consequences for Russia and its citizens for a long time to come. And each rocket only confirms that all this must end with a court," he said in his usual night speech.

Russia launched a new massive attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure on Thursday that left at least three injured in kyiv and 90% of the city of Lviv without electricity.

According to Zelensky, the Ukrainian armed forces shot down 54 missiles and 11 attack drones, although some bombs were successful and hit their targets.

Because of this, tonight there are power cuts in most regions of Ukraine and, according to the Ukrainian leader, the situation is "especially difficult" in the kyiv region and the capital, as well as in the Lviv, Odessa, Kherson, Vinnytsia and Zakarpattia.

"Our power engineers and repair teams are doing everything possible during the day so that Ukrainians feel the consequences of the terrorist attack as little as possible," he explained.

On the situation at the front, Zelensky has said that there are no "significant changes" and that the Russians do not abandon "the crazy idea" of capturing the Donetsk region.

"Now they set themselves a task: for the New Year."

According to Zelensky, there are two days left this year and "perhaps the enemy will once again try to make us celebrate the New Year in the dark."

"Perhaps the occupiers are planning to make us suffer with new attacks in our cities - he added -. But no matter what they plan, we know one thing about ourselves: we will persevere. Of necessity. We are going to expel them. Without a doubt.

Denis Kozhukhin, Russian pianist: "I understand that everything that sounds Russian is interpreted in a negative tone, it is a normal reflection"

Until last February 24, the nationality of Denis Kozhukhin (Nizhny Novgorod, 36 years old) appeared as an appendix in any of the concerts in which he participated as a piano soloist.

Nor did it matter that Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov or Shostakovich were part of his usual repertoire.

But since Russia invaded the Ukraine 10 months ago, Kozhukhin has felt compelled to talk about the war and to separate Russian culture from the tendency to identify it with Vladimir Putin's regime.

That date also marked a turning point in his determination not to pronounce on politics.

A week after the conflict broke out, he published a strong message on his social networks condemning the aggression of his country and "of the people behind it."

“I grew up in Russia and I love it as a homeland,

but there is a difference between the country and the regime and I am against this regime and its actions,” he stated on March 2.
