The celebrations for New Year's Eve and the beginning of the new year are held for the first time in three years to mark the end of the Corona era with many events and glittering parties in traditional centers all over the world.
Fireworks opened 2023 in Australia, the first country to welcome the New Year with a spectacular display over the famous Sydney Opera House as well as the adjacent Harbor Bridge.

Closer to our region, Dubai is preparing for an unprecedented laser show over the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.
The organizers promise that this year the show will be bigger than the previous one and it will also be accompanied by fireworks.
In Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, a country that in the last year has witnessed military tensions due to threats from neighboring China, hopes for a quieter time.
Tonight they will mark the new year under the slogan "Taipei is the future".
In planning an audio-visual show that will include the launch of 16 thousand fireworks into the sky for five minutes from the "Taipei 101" building, one of the tallest in the world.

Unlike the last few years, a massive event is expected in New York's Times Square with thousands of people gathering in the center to watch the traditional Ball Drop during the countdown.
The event will start at 18:00 (local time) and an audience from all over the world will be able to watch the show live via streaming.
In London, after two years of absence due to the Corona epidemic, a special fireworks show will be held at the event for which 100,000 tickets were sold and will begin at midnight (local time) when "Big Ben" indicates 00:00.
