The police of the Petah Tikva station yesterday (Friday) began an investigation into the circumstances of a fire in the city with suspicious characteristics, including its existence early in the morning in several locations, including: the yard of a residence and at the same time in one of the apartments. Meanwhile, the forensic investigators collected forensic findings at the scene and transferred the body of the deceased to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, to examine the cause of death, since several suspicious marks were identified on his burned body.

In accordance with the circumstances and the suspicions, the investigation was assigned to the central unit of the Central District, which together with the investigators of the station and the intelligence systems in the Sharon region, collected many findings at the scene and its surroundings.
According to the findings of the expedited investigation, a suspicion was formed against a resident of Rasheltz in his 20s, who until recently lived in the same building next door to the deceased and was suspected to have been in the area near the time of the incident.
The police detectives were able to locate and arrest the suspect last night, in addition to searching and seizing findings in his apartment, linking him to the suspected murder.
