The man from Bad Griesbach switched on the machine and saw the animal turn with it.

On December 26, a man went to do his laundry.
Unnoticed, his cat crept into the drum.
When he turned on the machine, he immediately noticed his cat was inside, according to a Facebook post from the Bad Griesbach Fire Department.

He immediately pulled the plug and the machine stopped, but the door remained locked.
The cat owner tried to open the door - without success.
Eventually he called the fire department for help.
It was freezing cold in Bavaria. The fire brigade had to save an exhausted swan in Stockstadt, it had hardly moved.

"The cat was a little upset.
But the main thing is unhurt and healthy," commander Daniel Hubersberger told the
