Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are teaming up with Netflix.

Her documentary "Harry & Meghan" was released in December.

But Meghan is said not to have been satisfied with the final version of the project.

Montecito – The past twelve months have been a particularly eventful time for Prince Harry (38) and Meghan Markle (41).

After announcing their retirement as full-time royals in February 2021, they relocated to Montecito, California, and set out to share their personal story with the world.

To this end, Harry and Meghan signed multi-million dollar deals with Netflix and the publisher Random House, from which a number of large-scale multimedia projects are to emerge.

"Not thrilled": Royals expert on Meghan's reaction to Netflix documentary

After months of work, Netflix released three episodes each of the docu-series Harry & Meghan on December 8th and 15th, following the royal couple through the years - from their first meeting and wedding in 2018 to their move to the United States.

Although the six-hour project was a lot less critical than Royals experts had feared in advance, Meghan Markle fired against Buckingham Palace and the British press in her Netflix documentary.

"Harry & Meghan" is the name of the six-hour Netflix documentary with which Meghan Markle and Prince Harry want to tell their story.

The final project is said to have not gone down well with the Duchess of Sussex.

The project went through a number of changes well before it aired, with the Sussexes replacing original director Garrett Bradley, 36, after a location disagreement with Oscar-nominated filmmaker Liz Garbus, 52.

Despite this change of course, the former "Suits" actress is said to have been unhappy with the end product.

"While I agree they feel it's important to tell their story, I heard Meghan wasn't thrilled with the final draft," Royals expert Kinsey Schofield told

Harry and Meghan wanted to change their Netflix documentary

In addition to their book deal with global publisher Random House, which will launch Harry's autobiography "Spare" in January 2023, the collaboration with Netflix is Harry and Meghan's second major project.

Although filming began more than a year ago, the couple are said to have had doubts about the final product.

, since the death of Queen Elizabeth II († 96) they have tried to change the content of the show – while the streaming provider has insisted on broadcasting the format at the planned time and unchanged.

"Harry and Meghan have concerns about their own history, about their own project," a Netflix insider told the newspaper in early October.

"Full of filler": Royals expert punishes Netflix documentary and Harry's autobiography

With Harry's autobiography "Spare", the second controversial project from Harry and Meghan's top-class deals will appear on January 10th - which, according to Kinsey Schofield, should be significantly less spectacular than assumed.

"It's to be expected that 'Spare', like the reality show, will lack detail," the journalist fired at the work, which she says will be "full of filler".

"Many people notice that Harry and Meghan like to talk, but both lack substance and detail," is the sharp verdict of the expert.

On December 31, the streaming giant is also releasing the Sussexes' second Netflix collaboration, Live to Lead - which aims to showcase inspiring people from around the world.

Kinsey Schofield, who describes the project as "incredibly boring", takes a critical view of the show produced by Harry and Meghan: "They cling to their royal titles and create content like this so that they can sneak into these elite circles. Meanwhile, Meghan Markle's father, Thomas, revealed secret text messages.
