That is why, Reznikov stressed, his troops would use whatever weapons they had at their disposal, from shoulder-launched manpads to modern Patriot systems, to protect their country.
In conclusion, Ukraine's defense minister added that the demilitarization of the "terrorist state" of Russia was "going according to plan".

The battle for the contested key city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine is coming to a head.

Russia's casualties mount: Air defense shoots down all Russian drones in Kyiv Oblast
+++ Update from Friday, December 30, 6:15 a.m .:
The governor of the Kiev region, Oleksiy Kuleba, reported that in the early hours of the morning (December 30) the air defense shot down all drones that Russia was targeting infrastructure facilities in of the Kiev region.
Preliminary reports indicate that none of the drones reached their destination.
The Ukrainian military has also announced that its anti-aircraft defenses destroyed nine Shahed drones and one Marlyn drone in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia oblasts early Friday morning (December 30).
Russia's casualties mount: Hundreds of Russian soldiers and Wagner mercenaries injured

A look at the statistics shows how problematic the situation has become for Russia.
