They all claimed to be officers of the Mainland Public Security or the Department of Health, and used different excuses to ask the victims to hand over their account information and transfer money to designated accounts.

The age of the victims ranged from 19 to 80 years old, and the single amount involved ranged from 17,000 yuan to 3.5 million yuan, with a total amount of 17 million yuan involved.

During the operation, officers seized some bank documents and multiple mobile phones, which were suspected to be related to the case.
