Ramzan Kadyrov has apparently heard rumors about his poor health.

He now proved his physical fitness on Russian TV.

Grozny - Ramzan Kadyrov is considered a "bloodhound" by Kremlin ruler Vladimir Putin.

As president, he rules Chechnya, an autonomous republic of the Russian Federation, with brutal means.

As a despot, you should be physically fit, because rumors alone about a possible weakness can be detrimental to the rule.

Apparently Kadyrov was now forced to refute rumors about his health.

Chechnya's ruler Ramzan Kadyrov first answered questions from citizens and journalists on TV.

Then he did push-ups.

, the 46-year-old answered questions from citizens and journalists in a television program.

In a video that Kadyrov distributed on Telegram, excerpts from the program are shown.

In the program, he initially answered questions on current topics for around two and a half hours.

He promised foreign students whose parents are unable to send them money because of Western sanctions to deal with the problem.

He also praised himself for allegedly sending 200 percent more volunteers into the war than planned, even without mobilization.

Finally, Kadyrov also showed that he is physically fit.

The video shows him lying on the floor and doing push-ups.

Kadyrov also made an inglorious name for himself in the Ukraine war because his soldiers are considered particularly brutal.

However, his troops in Ukraine appear to have suffered a setback.
