Brian Christopher Koberger, a 28-year-old doctoral student in criminal law and criminology, is the suspect in the massacre in Idaho that stirred up the entire United States - in which a male and three female students were stabbed to death in their beds in an apartment near the university campus.
New details about the suspect paint a picture of a "strange" person, as his acquaintance testified , who was very interested in crime. According to reports in American media, Coberger recently lived in an apartment in the city of Pullman, Washington, and it seems "because he expresses a great interest in crime".

Ben Roberts, a criminal justice student at the University of Washington where Koberger did his doctorate and served as a teaching assistant, told Sky News that Koberger appeared to be a confident man, but also seemed like "he was always looking for a way to fit in."
According to him, he was a person with "very embarrassing" behavior.
"My name is Brian, and I invite you to participate in a study that seeks to understand how emotions and psychological traits affect decision-making when committing a crime," wrote Koberger in a post he published on Reddit about six months ago in an attempt to obtain information for a study he conducted about ex-prisoners.
"Emphasis, the research tries to understand the story behind your last criminal offense, emphasizing thoughts and feelings throughout the experience (at the time of the offense)," he added.

Kobarger's arrest yesterday comes about a month and a half after the victims were found stabbed to death in their beds after falling asleep.
The murder was in the town of Moscow, where 25 thousand residents live, most of whom are students at the University of Idaho.
The three murdered women lived together in a large house in the town.
The murders were on the second and third floors, and they happened while other female students who lived on other floors of the house were sleeping.
