A traffic accident occurred in Jianglan Tunnel.
Today (31st) at around 1:00 pm, a motorcycle was traveling along the Jianglan Tunnel towards Tseung Kwan O. When it reached the Tiu Keng Leng exit, it lost control and overturned on the ground. The 37-year-old non-Chinese male driver suffered a head injury and fell into a coma.
Ambulancemen arrived at the scene, and the injured fell into semi-consciousness and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for emergency treatment. Fortunately, he regained consciousness.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
What was seen at the scene showed a takeaway thermal bag on the rear of the motorcycle, a helmet and a pool of blood left on the side of the road.
