After the impact of the anti-amendment law turmoil in 2019, many college students were discouraged, and student organizations were even more sluggish. Coupled with the strict management of the school, "breaking the village" has almost become the new normal.

But Morgan made persistent efforts and did not give up any opportunities to participate in school administration. Today, he serves as a student representative on school committees, including the Academic Affairs Committee, Bookstore Management Committee and Safety Affairs Committee.

The reason why he actively strives for every opportunity to participate in decision-making and cultivates the awareness and ability to participate in public affairs is because he firmly believes that these experiences have made him more aware of his obligations and responsibilities as a member of the community, and it has also driven him to constantly think about how to use resources effectively , balance the interests of all parties, and achieve effective communication.

However, many analysts believe that the various measures adopted by young people are nothing more than treating the problems faced by young people in education, employment, entrepreneurship, and home ownership as "problems with the youth", rather than "investing in the future of youth" to reform. Because the authorities still lack mutual trust with young people, they dare not further empower them to participate in more public affairs.

If the government wants to unite young people to create an ideal society, Morgan believes that the two parties should establish a two-way cooperative relationship: on the one hand, the government should not reject young people because they lack experience, but should give them more resources and care to cultivate their skills and knowledge, listen carefully to their thoughts, and create more platforms for them to develop their strengths; on the other hand, young people must also have a cooperative attitude and not be on the opposite side of everything, especially because they do not have enough experience And knowledge, even if you have some unique ideas on different issues, you should work hard to learn how to practice rather than imagine.

When asked if he thought about leaving Hong Kong, Morgan asked in confusion, "Why did you leave?" He was not willing to leave. Since Hong Kong has many problems, he should stay and change, and he should take this opportunity to prove his self-worth.

He hopes that young people can actively think about how to participate in the construction of Hong Kong. Even if the space is limited, the ability is not enough, and it is difficult to change at any time, they must go all out to hand over a better Hong Kong to the next generation.
