"The ceremony started and within a second my smile fell to the floor":
an 11th grade student who came to sing today (Sunday) at the exchange of ministers ceremony at the Ministry of Education, put up a post in which she goes against Education Minister Yoav Kish, claiming that he treated the words of the outgoing Education Minister with disdain. A ministerial exchange ceremony took place this morning at the Ministry of Education in Jerusalem.
During the ceremony, there were exchanges between the incoming Minister of Education Yoav Kish and the outgoing Minister of Education Shasha Biton.
During a speech by the outgoing Minister of Education, Yifat Shasha Biton, the new minister, Yoav Kish, whispered into the ear of the new minister from Shas Haim Biton. Shasha Biton stung Kish and told him: "You should listen, it will save you a lot of time in Hafifa." He responded He answered: "We listened to you for a year and a half."

The behavior of the incoming Minister of Education boiled Doron Ophir, a student in the 11th grade at Branko Weiss High School in Modi'in who came to sing at the ceremony. In a post she put online she wrote: "From here to there the ceremony begins, and then, in one second, my smile falls to the floor.
Dr. Shasha Biton speaks to the incoming minister, and he in response sits by the table, with complete disdain and chattering on his mobile phone.
"When the outgoing minister turned to him, asking him to listen to her, he told her in response - 'We have heard you for a year and a half.'
According to the student, the incoming minister showed constant contempt for the outgoing minister: "Is this supposed to serve as an example for education in Israel?"
she wondered.
"Before the honor of the outgoing minister stepping down from the podium, she said to Mr. Kish, 'We share the same path. Good luck'. After that, the incoming minister comes up to speak as the new minister of education. One of the first things he said, disdainfully, was 'We are not sharing the same path.' The Ministry of Education will change the direction and restore everything that the previous government canceled'. Here, my jaw dropped."
She concluded her words with the sentence: "I have been taught all my life that you don't have to agree with each other's opinions, but you do have to respect the person in front of me. As a person who should serve as an example - in my opinion, you are disqualified."
Minister Yoav Kish's office did not respond.
