Semlat Motors, an importer of Dodge Ram vehicles (among others), publishes a correction call for the 1500, 2500, 3500 models sold between 2019-2022 in Israel.
The suspicion is that some cars of this type may develop a malfunction of the latch for the trunk door.
The repair does not include replacement as the Hoda describes a repair that is an adjustment if necessary.

According to the data provided by the importer, the said repair call is valid for 1819 vehicles sold here.
The duration of the work is about half an hour, it will be performed free of charge and all vehicle owners of these models and for whom the directive is applicable will be sent a written notification.
The repair can only be performed at service centers authorized to handle vehicles of this type and which are listed in the vehicle book and are also published on the company's website at www.ramtrucks.co.il.
Although this is an insignificant correction, it is important to remember that according to Rule 306 (a) of the Traffic Regulations 1961, a vehicle owner who does not actually perform the "re-reading" within 6 months from the date of sending the letter, the Ministry of Transportation will not renew his vehicle license and it will not be possible to transfer the car owner.
