Two young men aged 19 and 18, residents of Tel Aviv and Holon, were arrested on suspicion of robbing in two different cases in September of this year in Gush Dan, two people who allegedly came under false pretenses to withdraw money and the suspects waited and robbed them.
The police estimate that the investigation will be completed in the coming days and an indictment will be filed against the two.
As mentioned, in September of this year, two complaints were received by the police about the fact that two robberies, with similar characteristics, took place, one in Tel Aviv and the other in Ramat Gan, when the suspects called the victims and they coordinated with them to arrive for the purpose of extorting money.
When they arrived at the meeting place, the suspects surprised them, attacked them with assault weapons and robbed them of large sums of money.
In one of the cases, it was an elderly victim who was brutally attacked.
In the last few days, the police managed to link the two young men to the robberies and they were arrested for questioning on suspicion of committing crimes of armed robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime.
The two were arrested and brought in for questioning and denied the suspicions against them and were then brought to court for remand, where the police representative stated that there are clues linking the suspects to the two scenes.

"These are serious incidents in which a great deal of violence was used against the complainants. When they were surprised by the suspects and brutally attacked and very large sums of money were robbed," said the police representative at the hearing.
Today (Sunday) the police added that by Wednesday, a prosecutor's statement will probably be filed against the two according to which an indictment will be filed against them for the robberies.
Judge Ron Goldstein, who extended the arrest of the two, noted in his decision that at this stage there is reasonable suspicion against the two suspects and the messages of the two victims of the crimes show the alleged seriousness of the alleged acts.
"During the hearing, I was shown two videos which were claimed by the representative of the investigating unit which document the commission of the crimes. A review of the videos also shows the seriousness of the alleged acts which are the subject of the request before me," Judge Goldstein wrote in his decision.
