A 24-year-old Israeli woman was stabbed and moderately injured in Rome, the capital of Italy, as reported today (Sunday) in the country's media.
According to the reports, the young woman was attacked with a knife after she spoke Hebrew and carried a bag with a Hebrew inscription at the central train station "Roma Termini" in the Italian capital.
The young woman underwent surgery and a catheter, and according to sources in Italy, there is currently no danger to her life.
The young woman's mother is with her in the hospital.
The local media reported that the background to the attack was being investigated and that the possibility of terrorism or an anti-Semitic attack has not been ruled out.
