The bereaved father fears that the terrorist will return to Haifa: "Afraid that I will face a heart attack or that I will tear him to pieces" - Voila! news

Yossi Tzur, the father of Assaf, who was murdered in 2003 in an attack on route 37 in Haifa, is horrified by the possibility that the terrorist involved in the attack and expected to be released soon, will return to live in the city. He called for promoting the citizenship revocation law: "Members of the Knesset should put aside all other considerations, these are terrorists who are coming back to live among us."

Assaf Tzur was only 17 years old when he was murdered in an attack on bus 37 in Haifa in 2003.

Munir Rajavi, who is among those involved in the attack that led to the murder of 16 other people, will soon be released from prison and will probably return to live in Haifa, his city of residence before the attack.

Now, the bereaved families in Haifa are outraged by what is going to happen soon, and are calling for the promotion of a bill to deny citizenship and deport terrorists who receive money from the Palestinian Authority.

Yossi Tzur, Assaf's father, spoke with Ben Caspit Vinon Magal on 103fm and expressed his anger at the indifference of the elected officials, according to him, to the plight of the families.

"Rajabi received a very lenient plea deal - 20 years in prison, and he is about to be released on the twentieth anniversary of the attack. When we remember our children, he will go out to celebrate outside the prison," he shared sadly.

"His involvement was important and fundamental. The terrorists have a clear and legal connection to the Palestinian Authority, they define themselves as such, so they should go live there. Unfortunately, the members of the Knesset do not differentiate between important and less important laws, and are a bit dragging their feet. Even in the current Netanyahu government, we have heard voices saying that this will not pass the legal advice and the High Court.

Knesset members should put aside all other considerations, these are terrorists who are coming back to live among us."

"17 families in Haifa live in a continuous nightmare of what will happen if we walk down the street, in a mall or in a restaurant and meet the murderer responsible for the murder of our children coming in front of us, smiling, smiling, maybe even holding a woman," he added.

"I'm afraid that I'll face a heart attack in that place or that I'll lose my temper and tear it to pieces, and then my life is gone. No one cares about us, we're not important but all bereaved families, and we're begging them to let us talk. MKs come, offer empathy, but there's no That's all.

We have to have someone take it into their hands.

Free us from this injustice of the nightmare if he comes to live near us, and from this need to become lobbyists for the bereaved in the Knesset.

It is not beautiful and inappropriate.

This is an abnormal humiliation."

Concluding his remarks, Zur emphasized: "I want them to stop with all the excuses and explanations, and to restore someone who will show a bit of leadership.

this is not happening.

I am one, and family is one,

But the 200,000 residents of Haifa are okay with the fact that a Hamas terrorist lives next to them?

He will probably have to work somewhere."

Zur added that he does not know how he will behave if Rajavi does return to live in his hometown.

"17 families in Haifa live in a continuous nightmare of what will happen if we walk down the street, in a mall or in a restaurant and meet the murderer responsible for the murder of our children coming in front of us, smiling, smiling, maybe even holding a woman," he said.

"I'm afraid that I'll face a heart attack in the same place or that I'll lose my temper and tear it to pieces, and then my life is gone. No one cares about us, we're not important but all bereaved families, and we're begging them to let us talk. MKs come, offer empathy, but there's no That's all.

Free us from this injustice of the nightmare if he comes to live near us, and from this need to become lobbyists of the bereaved in the Knesset.

It's an abnormal humiliation."

At the end of his speech, Zur emphasized: "I want them to stop with all the excuses and explanations, and to rehabilitate someone who will show a bit of leadership. This is not happening. I am one, and a family is one, but 200,000 residents of Haifa live okay with a Hamas terrorist living next to them? He must have to work somewhere".
