The clashes between Kish and Shasha-Biton, the friction between Smotrich and Lieberman - the exchange of roles is underway:
the 37th government of the State of Israel, and Netanyahu's sixth, begins work, when today (Sunday) role exchange ceremonies will be held in many government offices.
One of the ceremonies that should focus attention is that of Ben Gvir and Amar Bar-Lev at the Ministry of Internal Security.
A memory of the stormy confrontation that developed between them after the attack in Hadera in March.
Ben Gabir, then a member of the Knesset, arrived at the scene of the event where the outgoing minister Bar Lev was being interviewed - and attacked him with harsh words in front of the cameras: "Stop, shame on you. You should be ashamed, you are the most failed minister that was here. They took the most leftist and made him the security minister Face. Aren't you ashamed?".

In the meantime, incoming minister Itamar Ben Gvir met this morning with commissioner Yaakov Shabtai for a first working meeting at the office in Jerusalem.

The turned military wheel
An overlapping meeting between the outgoing Defense Minister, Benny Gantz, and the incoming Defense Minister, Yoav Galant, was already held on Friday, the two talked for about an hour and a half about the security issues at hand.
Today they will hold the exchange ceremony at the Ministry of Defense.
My son,
thank you for your contribution to the security of the State of Israel. @gantzbe pic.twitter.com/jjj8uQrREf
— Yoav Gallant (@yoavgallant) December 30, 2022
In 2011, Gallant was the leading candidate for the position of Chief of Staff to replace Gabi Ashkenazi, but the government at the time canceled his appointment due to the land dispute. Following the cancellation, Gallant was not elected to the position of Chief of Staff, and Benny Gantz was appointed in his place.
Now, the wheel has turned - and Gallant is the one who replaces Gantz, this time in the Ministry of Defense.
Another ceremony that will arouse interest is that of Smotrich with the outgoing Minister of Finance, Avigdor Lieberman.
The two clashed quite a bit over religious issues, when Lieberman recently attacked Smotrich's desire to make changes to the Law of Return.
Smotrich, for his part, attacked Lieberman with harsh words, and more than once: "Yvet Lieberman is the most dangerous politician. He is a bully, violent, an agent of chaos who has been deteriorating the State of Israel for years because of personal matters."

Difficult conflicts in the days of Corona
Yifat Shasha-Biton will give her place in the Ministry of Education to a former member of the Likud party - Yoav Kish.
Even between these two there were quite a few confrontations mainly around issues related to the Corona restrictions, to which Shasha-Biton often opposed.

Kish, who served as Deputy Minister of Health in those days, often attacked her: "She is irrelevant and populist. She did the greatest damage to public trust."
In addition, he blamed her for the state of health at the time: "Shasha-Biton is the main person responsible for the fact that we were not able to stop the disease."
Yariv Levin in the Ministry of Justice and Miri Regev in the Ministry of Transportation - gave up on the ministerial exchange ceremony with their predecessors Gideon Sa'ar and Marev Michaeli (respectively).
In the Ministry of Housing and Construction, not too many dramas are expected when the outgoing minister Ze'ev Elkin will give way to the chairman of Torah Judaism, Rabbi Yitzhak Goldknopf.
