"Monitoring and marking male and female journalists according to their sexual orientation, certainly by a political party, a member of the emerging coalition, may deter potential journalistic sources from maintaining working relationships with them; monitoring and marking male and female journalists on such a "black list" may deter many parties from inviting male and female journalists from the list for events, lectures, conferences, etc., and to place these bodies in a conflict of interest and with the fear that if they invite journalists from the LGBT community, this may harm public budgets, or in another aspect.
There is also a serious concern that the media will refrain from promoting journalists from the LGBT community 'so as not to upset the government'."
