To the soldiers on the front, for the New Year, Ukrainian children sent letters.
In one of them, a child writes:
“Dear Defender, I wish you a quick victory, the best gift a child can have today (…).
I just want this war to end, the sky to be blue, the sun to shine and that sun to shine so brightly that no more shells and rockets will ever fly in it again.
Another child, another letter:
“
Thank you for the dawn, thank you for the opportunity to go to school again, thank you for the sunny days (…).
We all await victory together, for justice and truth are with us (…).
I believe, I know, that
in Ukraine

and again, the sky returns in the dozens of letters hanging on the wall of a humanitarian aid center in Kramatorsk.
