Shortly before midnight on New Year's Eve, police officers in Deggendorf escorted a heavily pregnant woman and her husband to a clinic - just in time.
Deggendorf - In Lower Bavaria, a heavily pregnant woman and her husband made it to the delivery room just in time on New Year's Eve - with the help of the police.

Shortly before midnight, officials in Deggendorf noticed a car driving through the pedestrian zone with hazard warning lights on.
This was announced by the police on New Year's Day.

The officers then stopped the car.
The driver explained that he had to take his heavily pregnant wife to the clinic.
The police officers then escorted the car to the hospital with blue lights and a siren.
That night the father reported to the police and thanked them: mother and child are doing well.
