"Committed to a two-state solution"

"Israel Hayom" learned that in the conversation Blinken confirmed President Biden's words that "the nuclear deal is dead".

Blinken added that the administration intends to harness the European countries to tighten the sanctions on Iran.

Cohen welcomed the American position and reiterated Israel's position that the pressure on Iran should be increased and there should be no return to the nuclear agreement.

The American minister also raised the Palestinian issue and reiterated the government's commitment to the two-state idea, but on this point there was no agreement between the parties.

The topics during the conversation were raised in general terms, and Blinken did not raise the issue of construction in Judea and Samaria.

The two also discussed the expansion of the "Abraham Agreements" and the addition of countries that still do not recognize Israel.

Among other things, it was determined that in March the "Negev Forum" is expected to convene in Morocco once again, with the participation of Blinken, Cohen and the foreign ministers who signed the Abraham Accords.

The expansion of Abraham's agreements is on the way.

At this point, it seems that Blinken is expected to visit Israel towards the end of January, after the visit to the country by the American national security adviser Jack Sullivan, probably in about two weeks.
