As-Suwayda - SANA
A free initiative to encourage agriculture and spread culture, art and love by the young Nasser Abu Tafesh, as part of an agricultural nursery he established in the middle of the main market of the city of As-Suwayda.
The initiative, as Nasser mentioned during his interview with a SANA reporter, began with his investment in an empty building overlooking one of the vital streets in the city, and converting it into a project for a nursery that includes different types of plants. Based on the environmental and aesthetic benefits of the plant.
Nasser, 39, also made the nursery site, which contains ornamental, forestry, and fruit plants, a free outlet for anyone who wanted to practice his hobby in it, such as playing, drawing, or reading, as he allocated a number of books he owned for those who wanted to read them.
A visitor to the nursery, teacher Ghufran Al-Safadi, found that it is beautiful to combine plants, art and books in one place, especially in these circumstances in which we need to spread values and knowledge and avoid stress, indicating that she will visit it with her school students to practice their hobbies by reading in it.
While the owner of one of the nearby shops, Raed Abu Ammar, pointed out the importance of Nasser's initiative, as it contributed to improving the place and giving it an aesthetic character, as he got plants for free, and planted some of them as ornamental plants in front of his shop.
