Learn more about the syndrome without a cure that Celine Dion suffers from 1:10
(CNN) --
Near, far, wherever you are, there's anger over Celine Dion's non-inclusion on Rolling Stone's list of the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time.
Released on New Year's Day, the list includes everything from Aretha Franklin to Rosalía and other artists known for their exceptional singing.
But some on social media are calling out what they see as a Titanic-sized mistake: Dion's absence from the list.
"Respectfully not including Celine Dion, arguably the greatest vocal technique of all time, on this list borders on treason," tweeted producer/promoter/artist Jamie Lambert.
There were also complaints about the non-inclusion of other artists, such as Dionne Warwick, Diana Ross and Sting.

The post appeared to anticipate the complaints.
"Before you start browsing (and commenting), keep in mind that this is the Best Singers list, not the Best Voices list," the introduction stated.
"The talent is impressive; the genius is transcendent."
Dion recently announced that she was postponing several dates on her European tour after being diagnosed with a neurological disorder that prevents her from "singing like I'm used to."
