The year is off to a bad start for RER D users. Since Monday morning, the line has experienced major disruptions in Essonne.
In question, a fire which occurred this morning in an electrical cabinet near the tracks of the Bras-de-Fer station, in Évry-Courcouronnes, which forced SNCF Transilien to interrupt the service in both directions between the municipalities of Viry-Courcouronnes. Châtillon and Corbeil-Essonnes.
The latter should not resume before 2 p.m.
The Grigny-centre, Orangis-Bois de l'Epine, Evry-Courcouronnes and Le-Bras-de-Fer stops are no longer served.
“Additional findings are necessary, following the presence of electrical cables necessary for signaling, specifies SNCF Transilien.
Trains on the Corbeil-Essonnes axis are diverted via Ris-Orangis until further notice.
Diagnostics must be carried out to determine whether work is necessary or not.

On its Twitter account, SNCF Transilien advises several “alternative” routes: “There are several possibilities for getting to Évry-Courcouronnes from Juvisy-sur-Orge station, replies the company.
You can continue to Evry-Val-de-Seine and take the 403 bus. You can also take the RER C to Brétigny-sur-Orge and the Express line 91.04.

Still on the official RER D Twitter account, SNCF Transilien lists several other possible routes.
From Viry-Chatillon, the DM5 and 402 bus lines allow you to reach Grigny center station.
From the latter, take line 402 to reach Corbeil-Essonnes and from Évry, take line 401 to Corbeil.
From Ris-Orangis, line 418 takes travelers to Bois de l'Épine station.
In Évry Val-de-Seine, the 403 takes you to the Évry-Courcouronnes station and the 408 to the Bras-de-Fer station.
Finally, still in Évry, the 408 connects the stations of Grand-Bourg and Bras-de-Fer.
