A court sentenced the woman to two years and nine months in prison because a doctor illegally issued 4,247 certificates exempting her from the obligation to wear a mask during the corona pandemic.

In addition, according to the director of the district court in Weinheim near Mannheim, it imposed a provisional professional ban on Monday and ordered that around 28.

This is the sum that the doctor received from the recipients for the preparation of the certificates.

Nationwide, people would have ordered and received appropriate certificates – without the doctor examining them or even having knowledge of any previous illnesses, it said.
