But, in recent months, the clientele of plastic surgeon Pavlo Denychtchouk has not quite been the same.

Soldiers and civilians injured by Russian attacks come here to have their faces and bodies repaired.

Power cuts do not spare the clinic, which had to acquire generators.

It's very important to try to improve the aesthetic aspect too, so that the victims feel like they are human again.

“First, there are life-saving operations.

But after that, even if a person survived, when they are disfigured, look in the mirror and feel like a monster, it has a serious psychological impact.
