Today (Monday) a ministerial exchange ceremony was held at the Ministry for the Development of the Periphery, the Negev and the Galilee.

The ceremony was held in the presence of the Minister of the Negev, the Galilee and National Resilience MK Yitzhak Waserlauf, the Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, the Minister of Heritage Amihai Eliyahu, Deputy Minister Almog Cohen, MK Limor Son Har Melech, outgoing Minister MK Oded Porer, CEO To the office Ilan Shohat and other dignitaries.

Chairman of Otzma Yehudit, Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gabir: "My friend, the incoming minister hears the plight of the people of Israel;

With emotion, with a heart, with a great love of Israel, with the enormous heart of Minister Yitzhak Waserlauf, and with his executive abilities, he can succeed in a big way."

In his speech, Minister Yitzhak Wasserlauf referred to the challenges facing the ministry he is in charge of: "The situation in the periphery today is one of the lack of willingness to live there. We strive to change this situation, to make Zionism, settlement, to reduce gaps, to provide opportunities, to address the difficult problems. The Negev and the Galilee are on top of our happiness. We will build new settlements, provide benefits, opportunities and launch new and extensive projects for the development of the periphery."

MK Oded Forer: "Yitzhak, you are getting an amazing office.

In the future, the State of Israel will not be able to live with one metropolitan center in the center of the country.

There should be two metropolises in the Galilee and Negev just as good as in the center of the country.

This class is very exciting.

You are the youngest minister in the government.

In the end when you sit in the room, the symbol of the country is behind you.

Your name is less important, but your role as the servant of the citizens of the State of Israel.

Always remember this, and take care of all citizens.

Above all, there is a country here and we have to take care of it.

By God, do it and you will succeed!"

CEO of the firm Ilan Shohat: "In the past year and a half, the firm has changed its face and has been involved in all areas of life in the Negev and the Galilee. The secret of the firm's success is the ability to leverage budgets and collaborations with all government ministries, especially in light of the unprecedented budget allocated to it.

I thank Minister Porer for a year and a half of working together and wish the incoming minister great success.

As a resident of the Galilee, your success is the success of the Galilee Negev and the State of Israel."
