Hausham – The anger about the expansion of the FC Hausham 07 clubhouse continues.

This is now insolvent.

In its September meeting, the Hausham municipal council agreed to grant FC Hausham 07 a subsidy totaling 30,000 euros for the extension of its clubhouse (we will report continuously).

At the beginning of December, the club surprisingly filed for bankruptcy.

In its last public meeting of 2022, at which municipal councilor Willi Halletz (Greens) was excused, the municipal council had to backtrack and collect the decision.

The basis was knowledge about the bursting of the overall financing, which had not been available until then.

The tragic thing about it: Halletz probably played a central role, but left his fellow councilors in the dark about it for a long time.

The Hausham municipal council meeting recently took a somewhat unconventional course.

As Mayor Jens Zangenfeind explained, deadlines and data protection reasons made it necessary to briefly discuss the subsidy granted to FC 07 privately during the public meeting.

The content was reported by the

Mayor afterwards.

Accordingly, after the former FC board of directors around the first chairman Christian Voulgaris and Willi Halletz' son Christian as treasurer, the municipal council found the financing of the extension to be logical.

It was based on two loan agreements for a total of 90,000 euros from a Munich private individual and the promise that sponsorship money of around 50,000 euros could be expected.

The funds should then have been used to pay bills of around 60,000 euros.

The municipal council finally gave the green light for a subsidy of 30,000 euros.

This should have come from the Kühnen Foundation and should have been paid out in two tranches, half in 2022 and half next year.

After Patrick

Asanger, who had taken office as the first chairman of FC 07, informed the municipality with his deputy that they were not aware of any binding agreements with sponsors and that the loan agreements had been terminated.

The lender's claim for payment led to the bankruptcy application.

In the end, the Hausham municipal council saw no other choice but to put the September resolution up for a vote again.

"I didn't actually want to decide that in the absence of Willi Halletz, but based on the facts, we can't postpone it," said Greens spokeswoman Harda von Poser.

"We don't want a mud fight, we want transparency.

In addition, there is a lot of money at stake," emphasized Mayor Jens Zangenfeind, who made no secret of his disappointment: "I find this behavior towards us and the club neither fair nor in order.

It put the new board in an impossible situation and harmed volunteering.” Georg Eham (independent), who suggested discussing the topic this year, said: “I am extremely disappointed that one of our ranks is involved.

The 30,000 euro subsidy was finally revoked unanimously.

The community stands behind the athletes and volunteers, as several statements have shown.

In conclusion, Zangenfeind said: "We cannot grant public funds if there are obviously strong disagreements between those responsible.

In addition, promises made to the community were not kept.

We cannot accept this.”
