Tourists in Ein Gev, located on the banks of the Sea of Galilee, actually love winter and the cold weather it brings.
This is a refreshing breath of fresh air, especially in a place that is so busy during the hot summer days.
After all, the Sea of Galilee is a stronghold and a center of pilgrimage in the hot season - but precisely now, when it's cold outside, the kibbutz prepares with a variety of delicious offerings that are very suitable for the cold outside.

First, a new deli full of goodies has recently opened for those who want to curl up in the room and not stick their noses out.
There is a wonderful selection of jars, delicacies, cheeses, crackers, cookies, drinks, muffins and even products designed for cooking, seasoning and baking.
On a really dreary day, it is recommended to stock up on an uplifting and delightful basket, and stay upside down.

Adjacent to the deli, a refined and inviting wine room was recently opened.
Local sommelier Omri Yitzhak is responsible for the fascinating curatorial work, which brings to the sipper a wide-ranging sensory experience.
The shelves feature premium wines from both large and small wineries.
Sitting in the wine room is pleasant and inviting, and it is recommended to enjoy a guided and informed tasting tour by Omri or one of the wonderful staff members of the place.

When the pleasant winter sun comes out to warm the shore of the Sea of Galilee, it is a golden opportunity to visit the kibbutz's fishing port.
Depending on your mood and hunger, you can choose between casual entertainment at the new podtrack there, which offers a falafel dish or a hamburger, as well as fries and onion rings or a relaxed and delicious fish meal at the fishermen's gathering on the deck overlooking the Sea of Galilee.
