The Netzah Yehuda Battalion will be transferred from Judea and Samaria to the Syrian border - this was revealed this morning (Monday) in Israel.
Following the move of the ultra-orthodox battalion, Druze cooks and female soldiers serving as military personnel in the HML will be diverted from the base.
In the IDF it was decided to transfer the battalions of the Kafir Brigade to operational employment outside the Judea and Samaria Division as part of increasing their skills and readiness for war. The Dokifat Battalion was transferred to the border of the Gaza Strip and the Netzah Yehuda Battalion was stationed on the Israel-Syria border at the Golan post, after a series of violent incidents that went against the orders. Absorption of the Haredi battalion headquarters in the outpost, it was decided to move the Druze team of cooks and the two female soldiers to another outpost. The commanders' decision in the field provoked criticism among soldiers in Division 210.
Army officials clarified that the team of cooks was transferred from the outpost regardless of sect, but because in the Netzah Yehuda Battalion they serve against a certain kitchen, which corresponds to the level of kosher required in the battalion.
The female soldiers serving at the battalion's base were moved to another base to allow a base without women - so that the Netzah Yehuda Battalion could maintain the ultra-Orthodox way of life, in accordance with the ultra-orthodox service order. The officials added that "the transfer was carried out in a manner that respects the soldiers and female soldiers", and noted that Post organization takes place at each battalion transition.
