The opposition also has a role.

Its role is to present a sustainable alternative.

An alternative that will provoke the taste buds and the thinking of the citizens of Israel.

If they continue to conduct themselves as they conducted themselves when they were in the government, they will not get far.

Remember, even when the government of change ruled, relations between its parts were not improved.

Outgoing Prime Minister Lapid did not exchange a word beyond what was required with Defense Minister Benny Gantz.

Lapid also did not speak to Marev Michaeli.

Before the elections, neither Gantz nor Lapid did enough to prevent a loss of votes, as Netanyahu did on the right side of the political map.

During the election campaign, they did not do enough to warn against the extreme parties, because of internal polls that showed that every attack only consolidates the bloc around Netanyahu.

During the government's tenure, they made no effort to publicize their successes, and when they remembered - it was too late, and Netanyahu managed to establish the thought that they were a government of failure.

Now they are in the opposition, and it is time to recalculate the course, both in terms of the relationship between the bloc's parties and in their conduct, in order to convince the people that they will be elected next time.

First thing - let them learn from Netanyahu how he conducted himself when he was in the opposition.

One of the main things was plowing deep in Israel, from Metula to Eilat.

Multiple public appearances.

Massive and smart use of social networks.

He built himself as the only voice of the right, and his partners enabled and did not interfere.

On the contrary - along the way they crowned him as their undisputed leader.

Netanyahu did not hesitate to criticize the government - including blatant lies, such as giving NIS 53 billion to the Arab sector, or supporting the false news that Bennett's house was renovated for NIS 50 million.

He also did not stop the attack on Knesset members and ministers from the Jewish Home, and did not come out against the calls "traitors" and "crooks", and the statement that the government is not legitimate - and we all know what that means.

I am not suggesting that the incoming opposition spread lies or attack people.

But to highlight the allegedly denied deal between the Likud and Netanyahu and Idit Silman.

Yes, to monitor the renovations, if there are any, in Netanyahu's private house on Gaza Street, which will probably be used as an official residence until the renovation of the house in Balfour is finished, and to demand to see the price tag.

To follow the legislation and attack it, while clearly explaining to the public what each and every law means and to constantly protect the guardians of the law and the guardians of the walls.

And most importantly - to try to renovate the relationship between Gantz and Lapid and to consider the establishment of the Israeli Democratic Party, under whose wings many small parties could be sponsored and become the main force in the center.

The continued division in the opposition will serve the government and keep them out of power.
