Russian President Vladimir Putin is accused of using paid actors to impersonate soldiers in his New Year's speech.
In his traditional speech, he is seen next to 20 soldiers who allegedly fought in Ukraine, wearing war medals and standing frozen-faced behind Putin, who coughs non-stop during his nine-minute speech.
He raised a glass of champagne to praise their war efforts and told them that their nation "had a choice to surrender and give up everything or fight. As long as we have people like you... of course we can't give up anything."
But Britain's SUN reported that sharp-eyed onlookers spotted a familiar face standing behind Putin - a blonde woman in full military dress sitting behind Putin's right shoulder, almost smiling as he delivered his speech.
Although she looks like a soldier in the Russian army, some people suspect that she has more experience on stage than on the battlefield.
She got to appear already as a sailor and also as a worshiper in the church in a series of previous videos - alongside some well-known male friends.

The soldier from Putin's new speech was previously seen wearing a waterproof safety vest while on a fishing boat with the president, but this time she let her hair down.
Along with her, three guys appear on the ship - who also seem to have appeared many times in Russian propaganda videos.
The trio was spotted in several other clips by netizens - including a camping trip and a breakfast meeting.
Some claimed that the mysterious woman resembled Risa Sergukhina, a politician and member of the regional Douma committee for monitoring legislation.
According to the suspicion, the men who appear next to her on the ship were also with her at a church ceremony where she was photographed.

Putin was attacked for using "paid actors" in a desperate attempt to pretend there was Russian support for the invasion of Ukraine.
There were those on social media who claimed that he was trying to "copy" the appearance of Ukrainian President Zelensky, who visited the destroyed city of Akhmat on December 20 without prior notice, met soldiers and gave them awards.
One of the co-winners for the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize, Oleksandr Matveychuk, was among those who shared the photos of Putin's "players."
According to her, "Putin wanted to copy Zelensky, who came to the Ukrainian defenders in Bakhmut. But after ten months of full-scale war, even Russia ran out of players."
The president has previously been accused of falsifying public appearances by using actors - in May of this year he was suspected that during a visit to a military hospital in Moscow at least one of the "patients" was supposedly known from a previous visit he made to the factory.
In addition, it is claimed that Putin employs actors and people loyal to him so that he can avoid any contact with "real Russians".
