The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 63 Russian soldiers were killed as a result of an attack launched by the Ukrainian regime forces with six American-made HIMARS missiles, on a temporary deployment point of a Russian forces unit, near the city of Makeyevka in the Republic of Donetsk.
The ministry said in its daily report: The Russian air defenses shot down two HIMARS missiles, but four other missiles with high-explosive warheads hit the aforementioned temporary deployment point, killing 63 Russian soldiers, stressing that all necessary assistance and support will be provided to the families and relatives of the soldiers. victims.
The ministry confirmed that its warplanes targeted temporary deployment points of the Foreign Legion units in Donetsk and Kharkov, which left more than 70 dead and 100 wounded among the foreign mercenaries.
The ministry pointed out that up to 30 Ukrainian soldiers were killed on the Kobyansk axis north of Luhansk, more than 40 soldiers on the Krasny Liman axis north of Donetsk, 70 soldiers on the Donetsk axis and 40 others on the south Donetsk axis.
The ministry stated that the Russian forces hit 67 artillery units at firing sites, forces and military equipment in 92 regions, and destroyed two depots of missile and artillery weapons and a fuel depot in Zaporozhye, and another depot for storing fuel in Dnepropetrovsk.
The Russian defense pointed out that two American-made howitzers were destroyed in Donetsk, a Polish-made Krab self-propelled gun in Kherson, and 15 Ukrainian drones were shot down in separate areas.
The total of what has been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation is 355 aircraft, 199 helicopters, 2,794 drones, 399 anti-aircraft missile systems, 7,366 tanks and other armored vehicles, 957 rocket launchers, 3,763 pieces of field artillery and mortars, and 7,876 special military vehicles.
