The new world of employment has resulted in the rise of new forms of employment and the creation of diverse employment opportunities for the older job seeker, who can apply his skills and experience in paid work or as a freelancer.

As part of the "Promising Veterans" project, the association "Vahdar Haqo'al the Third" which promotes the issue of employment of the older population in Israel, invites you, the senior citizens, to a course where you will get to know the renewed world of work and learn to identify your personal skills and motivations and translate them into work tools.

Rivi Beller, CEO of the association "Vahdret the Third Force": "We at the association understand that older workers are a real asset to any employer, and their place must be at the center of social, economic and cultural activities.

Many studies have proven time and time again that a multi-age society is more successful, so we set ourselves the goal of establishing the status of older workers as a strong and supportive age group of Israeli society.

Looking for a job is always a difficult and challenging path, especially in old age, it's important for me to say to all those who embark on this path: don't let anyone hurt your self-confidence.

The day after retirement you are exactly the same person you were the day before.

Take the time to identify your skills and abilities.

Raise your head, and get going."

In the course, built from over a decade of experience in the field of adult employment, the skills and abilities of the participants will be tested, as well as the motivations that drive them to action.

The course was built based on the knowledge of the needs and requirements of the renewed working world, and the POWER SKILLS or soft skills (verbal communication, self-learning ability, analysis and research, written communication, mental flexibility and self-management).

The participants in the course will learn to speak a new language - "language of skills", and they will receive assistance in renovating their resumes.

In addition, the participants will undergo training for job interviews and learn how to look for a job in the first place.
