A basement fire broke out in a residential building in Franconia.
The residents were able to get out of the house themselves, but three people were injured.
Neustadt an der Aisch - A fire broke out in Middle Franconia early on Sunday morning, January 1st.
The reason for this is still unclear, as the police wrote in a press release.
Cellar fire in Neustadt/Aisch - three injured
The fire broke out in a basement of an apartment building in Neustadt an der Aisch (Neustadt ad Aisch-Bad Windsheim district).
Three residents were taken to hospital with injuries.

Fire alarm - how to behave in case of fire
The Regensburg fire brigade was alerted shortly before 10 p.m. Four cars were fully engulfed in flames, and others had already been damaged by the heat.
Couple and child injured in New Year's Eve fire
According to the press release, residents of an apartment building on Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Strasse noticed heavy smoke from the basement around 1:20 a.m.
Five people were in the house during the fire.
Everyone was able to leave the apartment building themselves.
A couple and their 12-year-old child suffered smoke inhalation and the family was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

The alerted fire brigades extinguished the fire and were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the floors above.
The amount of damage caused is estimated at several thousand euros.
