The Central District Attorney's Office today (Monday) submitted to the Central District Court an indictment against two minors from the Shefala area for the attempted murder of another student at a school in Rehovot.
The indictment, submitted by lawyer Hila Tzur, indicates that in December the defendants decided to cause the death of another minor.
To this end, they equipped themselves with clothing that would mask their identity, a knife and a stone.
The accused arrived at the school where the minor studies, jumped over the school fence and broke into a run towards the complainant.

The minor who was sitting in the yard began to run into the school building and the accused followed him, with one of them holding a knife and the other a stone.
The minor reached the manager's room and closed the door behind him, when on the way the accused who was holding a stone threw it at him.
The second accused pushed open the door of the manager's room, attacked the minor with his fists and stabbed him several times.

Immediately after that, the defendants jumped back over the school fence, fled the scene and made sure to wash their clothes and get rid of the knife.
As a result of the defendants' actions, the minor is still hospitalized breathing independently, but does not speak and does not function independently.

The defendants are charged with trespassing to commit a crime, attempted murder, obstruction of justice.
One of the defendants is also charged with the offense of illegally possessing a knife and the other is charged with the offense of carrying a weapon - about two months before the incident he was caught carrying a weapon on his body without legal permission.
