According to Syrian sources, the Israeli army attacked the airport in the capital Damascus again on Monday night.
Two soldiers are said to have been killed and two others injured.
This was reported by the state news agency Sana.
The "Israeli enemy" covered the airport and its surroundings "with a barrage of rockets" during the night.
Air traffic was therefore suspended for several hours.
According to the Ministry of Transport, connections to and from Damascus resumed in the morning (local time).
Meanwhile, damage would continue to be repaired, it said.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the attacks targeted Lebanese Hezbollah militia posts inside and near the airport.
According to the activists, four members of the militia were also killed.
As is usual in these cases, the Israeli army declined to comment on the reports.
Israel reportedly flew 32 strikes on Syria in 2022
Israel's air force regularly bombs targets in neighboring civil war-torn Syria.
According to the Observatory for Human Rights, the country attacked a total of 32 times last year.
The airport in Damascus has also been the target of bombings in the past.
Israel wants to prevent its arch-enemy Iran and militias allied with it, such as Hezbollah, from expanding their military influence in Syria.
Along with Russia, Iran is the most important ally of Syrian ruler Bashar al-Assad in the civil war.
Former Israeli military intelligence chief Tamir Hayman has accused Iran of using Damascus airport as a main route to supply its allied militias in Syria.
"That's what happens when you take an airport and turn it into a hub for terrorism," Hayman told IDF broadcaster.
