– Unknown perpetrators set fire to a paper bin on Friday evening (December 30) in Holzkirchen's Veilchenweg.

According to police, the fire was reported around 6:30 p.m.

The Holzkirchen fire brigade responded and quickly extinguished the barrel.

The police estimate the property damage at around 100 euros.

On New Year's Day, unknown perpetrators did not use a lighter, but apparently a knife: two tires were punctured in the Holzkirchner train station car park not far from Otterfinger Weg (northern area).

The VW of a Munich building cleaning company was affected.

According to the police, the tire cutters struck between 5:50 a.m. and 10:35 p.m.

The damage is estimated at around 200 euros.

Accidents in Otterfing

Everyone involved survived an accident on New Year's Eve at the Otterfinger traffic light junction unharmed.

A hasty lane change was fatal for a 73-year-old Citroen driver.

According to the police, the woman from Munich was heading south on the state road, around 1:20 p.m. she had to slow down before crossing;

a queue formed.

A 30-year-old VW driver from Münster headed for the traffic light from the same direction, but arranged himself in the left-hand lane to turn into Kreuzstrasse.

When the 73-year-old Citroen driver pulled out of the queue to also get into the turning lane, she overlooked the VW.

After the accident, both cars remained drivable.

The property damage adds up to around 5500 euros.

Shortly before the end of the year, a Golf driver in Otterfing had every reason to be angry.

Between December 30 (9 a.m.) and New Year's Day (3:45 p.m.), his car, which was parked on Matheisweg, was hit by an unknown vehicle and damaged.

The stranger fled without bothering to settle the accident.

There was slight material damage to the bumper and the brand emblem on the Golf.

Damage: 500 euros.
