Be careful if you are in Finistère.
The Breton department was placed on Monday in orange vigilance to floods by Météo France.
Following the heavy rains that have affected the department in recent days, forecasters are now warning of the risk of a sharp increase in the height of rivers.
The main river on alert is the Laïta, in the south-east of the department, it marks the border between Finistère and Morbihan, around Quimperlé.

The city of 12,000 inhabitants also spent the beginning of the year with its feet in the water, since the river came out of its bed again, as in 2014, but the anti-flood protection barriers did not not enough to protect all homes.
“We have water: for the first time since 2014, the Laïta came out of its bed by going beyond the 3.80 m protection of the anti-flood barriers.
But this is not a historic flood, ”said Michaël Quernez, PS mayor of the town.
The decline is now expected to begin pumping operations.
Vigilance is currently valid until Monday evening midnight.
