Allershausen
– A 41-year-old was driving a gray Honda on the A 9 from Ingolstadt towards Munich on Sunday around 6 p.m.
From the Holledau service area, witnesses became aware of his unsafe driving style and alerted the police.
The man repeatedly swerved unpredictably to the right and left of his lane, forcing other drivers to swerve and slow down.
Between the Pfaffenhofen and Allershausen junctions, he touched the central barrier more than once.
In the meantime, he accelerated to 200 km/h, according to the police report.
When the police officers finally stopped the man, he suddenly admitted that he did not have a driver's license and that he had consumed alcohol.
A breath test showed 2.08 per thousand.
He also stated that he was taking strong medication for back pain.
