Daraa-Sana
75 families in the towns of Al-Sura and Khirbet Ghazaleh in the countryside of Daraa governorate benefited from the poultry donation distributed by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch, with the support of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
The head of the Red Crescent branch, Dr. Ahmed Al-Masalmeh, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the aim of the grant is to achieve self-sufficiency in poultry products and to invest them in the future in securing the necessary needs.
Al-Masalma explained that the grant consisted of 26 chickens, 120 kilograms of fodder with vitamins, a drinker, a feeder, a block and a net to build a chicken coop, along with securing veterinary care and supervision for poultry for a period of three months, indicating that the beneficiaries received training sessions to guide them on how to care for poultry and benefit from egg production.
