The charging infrastructure for e-cars has been expanded in the municipality of Pfaffenhofen.
The municipality has put the municipal charging point for e-cars into operation.
Pfaffenhofen – As one of the first municipalities in the district of Dachau, Pfaffenhofen has now put its own municipal charging point into operation.
"One normal and one fast charging station are operated by Bayernwerke in accordance with the funding conditions and are available to all users," explains Mayor Helmut Zech.
The funding of around 44,500 euros was applied for and approved last year as part of the federal funding for "local charging infrastructure".
"Thanks to the very good cooperation with the sponsors and the executing companies, the project could be implemented in a very sporty time frame," says Zech happily.
The municipality of Pfaffenhofen had to contribute around 23,000 euros for the realization of the charging stations.
The property costs and additional costs for the implementation of the parking spaces are not included, Zech continues.

Bernhard Seidenath, member of the state parliament, came to Pfaffenhofen for the opening of the charging stations, which are now also being included in the nationwide charging station concept.
He informed himself about the implementation status while applying for funding and therefore took a short time for the commissioning.
The normal charging station has two charging points, each with up to 22 kW.
The fast charging station has two charging points, each with up to 50 kW.
The charging speed depends on the respective vehicle.
Both charging stations are freely accessible.
Payment can be made conveniently with a smartphone using a QR code at the charging stations.
The costs for ad hoc charging are currently 40 cents per kilowatt hour at the normal charging station and 55 cents per kilowatt hour for the fast charging station.
“However, it can also be refueled via the usual charging card providers.
Here, the tariffs can vary depending on the card provider,” explained Josef Bestle from Bayernwerke during the commissioning.
"We are glad that we have taken another important step forward on the subject of electromobility and have created another pillar for the mobility of the future," emphasized Zech at the on-site visit.
