50 million euros are available for small and medium-sized companies in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania to cushion the consequences of the energy crisis.
The state government decided on a five-point package of measures on Tuesday in the first cabinet meeting of the new year, as Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig (SPD) said in Schwerin.
It is intended for companies with up to 250 employees.
Schwerin - It was also decided to grant around 130 food banks and similar institutions in the state 2,500 euros each to absorb increased energy costs and other price increases.
