Frozen for more than two years, the extension project of the Montreuil mosque (Seine-et-Marne) is coming out of the rut.
At the end of December, the Council of State canceled the cancellation of the pre-emption by the town hall of the land which adjoins the building on rue de Rosny.
In 2018 and 2020, the administrative court of Montreuil then the administrative court of appeal of Versailles (Yvelines) had pronounced against this municipal decision taken in 2017, on the grounds in particular that it constituted an attack on secularism.
