Frontal collision in the oncoming lane

Two women (74/58) were slightly injured in an accident on Anton-Bruckner-Straße in Erding.

– Two slightly injured people and two vehicles that had to be towed away are the result of an accident on Monday on Anton-Bruckner-Straße.

The Erding police report that around 3:30 p.m., a 74-year-old woman from Erding was driving her Peugeot on Anton-Bruckner-Strasse in a westerly direction, i.e. out of town.

For reasons that have not yet been clarified, she entered the opposite lane at the intersection with Siglfinger Strasse and collided head-on with a Skoda Yeti.

The force of the impact threw the Skoda into the fence of an adjacent company premises.

According to the police report, the person who caused the accident was taken to the Freising Clinic with minor injuries.

The driver of the Skoda, a 58-year-old woman from Erding, complained of back pain, but wanted to see a doctor herself.

Both vehicles were no longer drivable and had to be towed away.

The total damage was around 10,000 euros.

The Erding fire brigade was deployed with 18 men.
