Harry and Meghan: where and when to watch the couple's interviews?

The son of Charles III and Lady Di is preparing to give two interviews on television on the occasion of the release of his autobiography, Le Suppléant.

Another blow for Buckingham.

Harry is about to release his memoir in a book called

The Substitute

Evocative title of his eternal place as youngest son, so close and so far from the throne destined for his brother William on the death of Charles III.

The book promises its share of revelations and a well-oiled promotion, as was the case with the release of the documentary series broadcast on Netflix last December.

Since they went into exile in the United States, Meghan and Harry have not stopped giving their version of the facts.

An exclusive interview given to Oprah Winfrey in 2021 had set fire to the powder.

The couple accused the British royal family of racism in front of 17 million Americans on CBS.

It is again on the American channel that Harry will speak on January 8, two days before the release of his book in bookstores.

He will talk about his childhood, the death of his mother and the way the press interacts with Buckingham Palace.

“There comes a time when silence is betrayal

,” he announces.

A second interview will be visible in the United Kingdom the same day, on the ITV channel.

The first extracts set the tone.

We discover Harry with a sad and serious look to declare:

“It shouldn’t be like that.

I want a family, not an institution.

They feel like it's better to keep us, somehow, like the bad guys.

They showed no willingness to reconcile.

I would like to get my father back.

I would like my brother to come back”

The interviews visible in France?

For the moment, no French channel has positioned itself to broadcast the interviews.

As a reminder, the interview given to Oprah Winfrey had been broadcast on the TMC channel on March 8, 2021. The program had gathered 1.46 million viewers, or 6.3% of the public.
