Today, the Iraqi Federal Police Command announced the arrest of a wanted terrorist in Kirkuk Governorate, in the north of the country.
Al-Sumaria News website quoted the leadership as saying in a statement today, "According to intelligence information and a qualitative process, the Federal Police Force managed to arrest a wanted suspect in accordance with the provisions of Article (4) of terrorism in the Azarban area of Kirkuk Governorate."
The statement added: The terrorist was referred to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal and investigative procedures against him.
Yesterday, the Iraqi security forces announced the arrest of a terrorist and the seizure of explosive devices in separate areas of the country.
